👉🏻Top Priority: Break Up With Old Habits

How many times have you come home from a long day at work, tired, frustrated, and hungry, you grab some wine, 🍷 chips, cheese, 🧀 or chocolate and just flop down to lose yourself in something on tv so you get some "me time"?

Just me? I don't think so.

I talk to so many women that don't think they can lose weight because all the old diets they have tried simply taught them that less is best. Less food, less calories, less everything you love....that is the only way to lose weight.

What if I told you there is another way!

If you can stop 🛑 some of that behavior, you would likely lose some weight. And that can get you started. And as I tell you time and time again...when you know better you do better. (Thank you Maya Angelou for that wisdom) So many of you tell me if I could just lose a little weight I would feel like I can lose more.

When you self soothe with food you might feel like you are obsessed with food. You might think all day about the next meal, do I have snacks🍪🍫 in my desk, whats for lunch, whats for dinner, what will I eat when I get home before dinner, what can I eat while I watch tv at night.

Here's a mind blowing 🤯 thought.

If food is the only thing that gives you comfort or some relief of course that is all you want to think about.

One of my clients had this breakthrough recently and it was a big a-ha for her. She realized that she hardly thinks about food anymore. It used to be an obsession and interrupted her day regularly. Now it's just food. Mealtime is no longer self soothing. She sleeps better, gets up before her alarm and enjoys quiet time without the need for more food. She is at her lowest weight yet.

Take a look at some of the things you do every day. Are there habits you didn't even realize you have? Where could you make a small change that might have a bigger result? This can be the game changer that helps you start to lose some weight.

Pick 1️⃣ thing and go all in on it. The reason so many diets fail is because it requires you to make so many big changes at once. You feel overwhelmed 😖and there is no familiarity to it. In the long run you won't miss the before dinner snack in 30 days. Or the bowl of popcorn 🍿 you ate while bingeing "White Collar" on Netflix. But you might notice the 5 pounds you lost on the scale.

Then you get to try it again, and again, and again. The next thing you know you have ditched an old habit that didn't serve you and you have lost some weight.
